HOME TOWN’s Erin Napier recently shared a prayer for strength, peace and “the renewal of spirit.”
“God in heaven,” she posted on Instagram. “If anyone sees us and they feel lighter, let it be your light they see. If anyone sees sadness in a broken house, let them see all of our human brokenness and look for an answer in the house of the Lord. If anyone feels happiness in the renewal of a house, let it be the renewal of spirit that only comes from you. If the world sees compassion in us, let it be your love that cannot be separated from any person on earth that they see.”
She continued, “Give us strength to love, give us your peace and your kindness even as we reject wickedness and let it be what the world sees in me. Not the world’s definition of light, happiness, compassion or renewal. Less of me, more of Jesus, the light of the world. Amen.”

Napier often shares her faith, whether on social media or in interviews. In a 2022 episode of the “Love Beyond” podcast, she said, “We get a lot of messages from people that tell us they can see our faith even if we don’t talk about it. That’s really lovely to hear because you wish you could say more about your faith when you have a public platform. And it often gets edited away.”
“But it’s so lovely that people are still finding light and optimism and positivity, which for us comes from a relationship with Christ, but for them it may be the first step to wanting to learn more about that,” she continued. “And so I feel lucky that that’s what we get to do for a living every day.”
Her husband, Ben, whose parents were both ministers, added, “It’s great to be on this side of the ministry and see, you know, even TV stars can minister in different ways.”
The home renovation couple are gearing up for Season 10 of HOME TOWN, which they are currently wrapping up filming. In an interview with Parade, Erin revealed the new episodes will be coming “after Christmas” this year.
She also shared that one of her favorite episodes involves a close friend who is a “professional artist.”
“She just bought a house that is literally a box. It is the most boring little vanilla box you can imagine. And whoa. We transformed it into the coolest artist cottage in the woods that you can imagine. It’s so exciting,” Erin said.
Fans of HOME TOWN are excited to see more episodes from the Napiers — and take comfort in Erin’s recent heartfelt words.
