Ever since Frodo finally (and we mean finally) got the fabled Ring into the fires of Mordor, fans have been waiting for shooting to begin for the “prequel” novel, THE HOBBIT, by J.R.R. Tolkien and directed by Peter Jackson. Here is the first actual image from the movie released by Jackson. The first of two movies, THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY, is set to be released Dec, 14, 2012. True fans might want to get in line now.
