Justin Bieber Discusses New Concert Doc OUR WORLD: ‘I Learn to Trust God More Every Single Day’

Pop star Justin Bieber, who won artist of the year at the VMAs on Sept. 26, recently held an exclusive premiere for his new concert documentary OUR WORLD.
After a brief performance on the 100-story-high outdoor deck at Manhattan’s the Edge at Hudson Yards, Bieber previewed the new documentary, which will debut on Amazon Prime on Oct. 8.
USA Today reported:
“Our World” captures Bieber’s New Year’s Eve concert last year at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, performing a tightly choreographed show of past and recent hits to masked fans watching from the hotel’s balconies. The film is light on revelations, primarily featuring members of Bieber’s team discussing his transformation from a troubled teen to “passionate leader” and family-focused husband to his model wife, Hailey Baldwin.
Bieber said that the documentary also gives an inside look at how God has strengthened his faith in the day-to-day occurrences of his life.
“Honestly, this movie is really cool for me because I feel like it captures me actually becoming a leader,” Bieber said at the event. “I just learn to trust God more every single day … knowing that regardless of the circumstance in front of us, God is in control. And I think right now with this pandemic and all of the crazy things that are happening in this world, one thing is for certain and that is we are not in control.”
Recently, Bieber headlined the “Freedom Experience” concert, where he championed the power of the Gospel.

Bieber took the opportunity to encourage the 20,000 volunteers with worship and praise music, including the title song from his 2015 album, ‘Purpose.’
However, between 2015 and now, Bieber’s music and life have reflected more and more his relationship with Jesus. Now, Bieber uses his voice to point people to God.
One of the verses of ‘Purpose’ reads: “I put my all into your hands / Here’s my soul to keep / I let you in with all that I can / You’re not hard to reach.”
The chorus reads: “And you bless me with the best gift / That I’ve ever known / You give me purpose / Yeah, you’ve given me purpose.”
The track from 2015 features a voice-over from Bieber. However, during The Freedom Experience, Bieber decided to have a more focused time to champion God’s power.
“God is in this room right now,” Bieber told the audience. “I want you to put your hands up, God is here right now. He’s in the midst of our pain and our struggle right now, I want you to put your hands up.”
“You are not alone,” he continued, concluding with a repetition of “Thank you Jesus.”
