Paris Hilton Prioritizes Motherhood Over Career: ‘He’s Everything to Me’

Paris Hilton recently revealed how motherhood has changed her priorities, shifting her focus onto her 6-month-old son, Phoenix, rather than her career.
“This has been the best time of my life,” Hilton shared. “He’s just everything to me, so I’ve been saying no to so many offers and things that are coming in because I want to spend as much time as possible with him.
“It’s definitely a lot,” Hilton told PEOPLE of motherhood, “just with everything I’m doing, and then being a mom on top of it all, but he is just my world and makes my life feel so complete.”
For the last 16 years, Hilton had attended a popular musical festival but decided to skip this year to stay home with her son.
“My priorities have just completely shifted, and I always put him first,” Hilton shared.
She said, “That feeling of love when they say when you see your baby for the first time, you don’t really know how it is until you actually experience it, and it’s one of the most magical feelings in the world. I’m so in love with my little angel.”
“From the moment I laid eyes on him, my heart felt so full,” Hilton said on her podcast. “I feel like my life is so complete now. I always wanted to be a mom.”
Hilton’s husband, Carter Reum, confirmed how thrilled Hilton is to be a parent, saying, “She’s just so in love. Being a mom makes her heart so full. I get as big of a smile seeing her joy as I do seeing Baby Phoenix’s joy.”
Reum added that he felt surprised by “The joy I feel from just seeing [Phoenix] smile and engage.”
Hilton also shared her enthusiasm for her son’s future: “I can’t wait until he’s a little bigger so I’m able to take him everywhere…I can’t wait to have him be with all of his cousins.”
