FIXER UPPER star Joanna Gaines celebrated her kids’ prom event last weekend by whipping up a fresh bouquet.
“Three of our kiddos going to prom this weekend,” Gaines shared in an Instagram post. “Garden flowers blooming just in time! This will be the first prom for one, and the last prom for another.”
In the video, she showed a beautiful bouquet of flowers and her work area.
On March 6, Joanna shared gorgeous photos from her extensive flower garden.
“I want my garden at the farm be a place where I try new things and stretch myself beyond my comfort zone.” She said, “Ranunculus were my fresh experiment last spring, and they ended up completely winning me over when they were the first to bloom and their petals burst open in layers of pinks and oranges and creams.”
“I loved the reminder that there is reward in risk — so I convinced the team to feature last year’s spring garden in our newest issue of the journal, filled of course with plenty of pictures of my favorite bloom of the year ✨#magnoliajournal” she finished.
Her kids, Ella, 18, Duke, 16, and Emmie, 15, are the ones who went to prom this year. Joanna and her husband, Chip, also have Drake, 20 and Crew, 6.

Chip and Joanna celebrate 22 years of marriage this year. Besides doing renovations together on FIXER UPPER and other business ventures, the popular couple also go to the gym together.
“There’s really no shortage of us doing things together,” she told Us Weekly. “But what I’ve loved most about this new rhythm of working out together is that it’s new and different for us, but it’s also been interesting to see that the way we show up for each other in our little garage gym is the same way we always have at the office, or with a new project.”
The family recently took a vacation to a Colorado cabin. Joanna filmed Crew making little snow creatures and their family playing games and doing puzzles together.
“We got to get away a couple weeks ago to play in the snow! We ❤️ Colorado!” Joanna shared. She also shared videos from the slopes.
“Another family ski trip in the books! Except mine doesn’t count as skiing,” she joked.
This spring, Joanna is also busy setting up her shop, Magnolia Market, with “boundless” décor and aesthetic items.
She shared, “We can’t wait for you to come visit The Silos this summer. The food, the product, the visuals, and the garden…Come play with us here in Waco, Texas.”
