Viral sensation Alex Warren and Jelly Roll are teaming up for new worship song “Bloodline.”

“It’s finally coming out!!” Warren captioned an Instagram video. In the clip, text reads, “Leaking our song ‘cause it’s finally coming out…”

In the video, Warren and Jelly Roll lipsync to the track — “Don’t you forget, God’s not done with you yet / When it feels like you’re losing the war in your head, just know this isn’t the end / Oh, my brother, you don’t have to follow in your bloodline.”

“Bloodline” will drop May 23 and is expected to feature on Warren’s upcoming album. Warren and Jelly Roll debuted the track at this year’s Stagecoach Festival.

“Just want to say thank you to Jelly, what a beautiful soul and allowing me to join you on this stage was a blessing,” Warren captioned a photo of the pair onstage. “It’s crazy to call you my friend, these last few weeks have been life changing and you have been so good to me. Love you Jelly.”

Warren’s music career took off earlier this year with “Ordinary.” The song blew up on TikTok and recently hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200 Chart.

“We wrote ‘Ordinary’…[and] I immediately wanted it to come out. I knew it was special,” he said in an interview with Hits Daily Double.

The song is about Warren’s relationship with his wife, Kouvr Annon.

“We’re both 24, we met when we were 18,” he shared. “I think it’s rare today to find true love, with phones and social media and all these different things. And so we wrote ‘Ordinary’ about how love is falling out, but we found something crazy.”

Speaking to PEOPLE about their 2024 wedding, Warren shared, “Getting married is extremely important to me. When I met Kouvr and the way she made me feel, I never wanted to let go of that feeling.”

Kouvr added that marriage signified her “commitment and response of protecting someone,” adding, “I couldn’t imagine what my life would be without him, and I’m so happy that I don’t have to.”

In addition to paying tribute to his wife, Warren’s “Ordinary” also gives a nod to his Christian faith.

“With ‘Ordinary,’ we were trying to depict love in a cool and interesting way,” he told HDD. “Mags [Duval, one of the song’s co-writers] and I are Christians, and we try to bring God and biblical references into our songwriting.”

When asked if there was “a worship music influence to the song,” Warren replied, “For sure, to all my songs. It’s a huge part of what I grew up listening to. I love the way those songs make me feel.”

There’s no official release date yet for Warren’s highly anticipated new album, but in the meantime, his collaboration with Jelly Roll is sure to satisfy fans — and bring both artists new listeners!
