Recent tabloids reported HGTV stars Erin and Ben Napier are breaking up, but…they’re not.
“Can’t believe I even have to say this but NO, the clickbait articles that we are splitting up are not real, y’all. They are AI-generated and don’t even make any kind of sense. Y’all are smarter than this,” Erin wrote on social media.
“And please don’t ask about it in front of our babies. They don’t understand what ‘online fake news’ means, and it’s upsetting,” she added.
The news would have been a shock to many if it were true. The Napiers run their show, HOME TOWN, together and are famous for being lovey-dovey.
HGTV ordered 32 more episodes of their show, which will film through 2027.
The same day Erin quelled the rumors, she shared photos of herself and Ben vacationing in Scotland.
“Seeing his homeland with my Scotsman 🏴,” she captioned a photo of her and Ben wearing matching sunglasses.
The pair are never far from one another, and they do all of their parenting together.
Ben said before, “It may come off as weird. I’m sure some psychiatrists out there would have a field day with this, but our girls don’t act the normal way they act when it’s just one of us. They act out.”
“It’s just a weird challenge that most families, I think, probably don’t have. You can make it with just mom or just dad at home for a day or two, but [for us,] everything falls apart,” Erin added.

They say they work better when they’re together.
“We’re together 24 hours a day because we feel like the strongest team that way,” Erin said.
Ben added, “We are in perfect conversation with each other — we communicate about every little detail of our lives.”
“We’re never apart,” Erin also told Entertainment Tonight. “This is the only way we know how to be grownups.”
Ben elaborated, “We totally get that not everybody functions that way, but we do, and it’s the only way we can. We’ve formed our adult identities around each other.”
The Napiers have been married for 16 years and aired their first episode of HOME TOWN in 2016.
In 2023, Ben shared a memorable post about the week he started dating Erin.
He said, “She wasn’t looking for a boyfriend but had cracked that door earlier in the day when she hugged me and gave me her number. I was ready to kick the door wide open and be in her world all of the time…She was the most interesting and attractive girl I’d ever met and I wanted to keep talking to her. So I did.”
And the rest is history!
