Actress Melissa Joan Hart just celebrated her son’s decision to dedicate his life to Christ.
“Our Brady made a beautiful choice today to dedicate his life to Christ!” she posted on Instagram. “We had him baptized as a baby to make a promise as a family to raise him up to know Christ. Today he made the decision to follow Christ and to have his church family witness his dedication and be a shining light for the Glory of God!”
Hart added, “God Bless and Keep you Brady! John 3:30.”

Brady, 16, is Hart and husband Mark Wilkerson’s second-oldest son. The couple also share Mason 19, and Tucker, 12.
“They’re getting huge,” she told PEOPLE in 2022. “My oldest is driving and it’s really upsetting.”
In a 2024 interview with TODAY, Hart joked, “Everyone prepares you for the firsts. No one prepares you for the lasts,” referring to Mason’s last year of high school.
The actress previously spoke about her strong Christian faith — specifically, a “born-again, Holy Spirit moment” she experienced.
“Everyone’s always talking about their moment of coming to Jesus or their moment of being born again,” she told The Christian Post. “I feel like I’ve always walked with God, it’s just gotten deeper and closer and more fulfilling.”
Hart continued, “I did have a born-again, Holy Spirit moment. I never really understood the Holy Spirit or the Trinity in a sense. One day, we were in Bible study and it just hit, like the Holy Spirit made sense to me all of a sudden!”
“One day, I just felt it and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s the Holy Spirit talking to me. I get it now,’ she said. “Like a lightning bolt just hit me and I was like, ‘The Holy Spirit! I don’t know why it just hit me and I got it.’ Then I better understood the Trinity and all that.”
Hart concluded, “My father-in-law once said to me, too, about the Trinity — because I was struggling to understand that — he said, ‘Well, I’m a father, but I’m also a son, and I’m also a brother, and I’m also an uncle. And he said, that’s how God can be all these things, so that hit me too.”
It might be bittersweet for Hart to watch her sons growing up, but she and her family are happy to celebrate Brady’s decision to dedicate his life to Christ!
