After leaving the degrading life of an OnlyFans star, Nala Ray discovered the importance of building a relationship and spending time with God.
She recently spoke with podcaster George Janko, describing how her whole life, she desired a positive male figure in her life.
“A brother, a father, someone to respect,” Ray explained. “My love language is physical touch. I can’t physically touch God, so it’s hard.”
Because of a broken family background, experiencing God as her heavenly father changed her life.

“That comes into like, faith, like, what is faith? And then when my father, like, really stepped out of my life and is now as jail and haven’t spoken to him in a long time, I’m like, ‘Wow, God, I really need a dad figure. Like, I need you to be that dad figure to me.’ So God has taken on every role in my life, basically, other than like, my husband — you know, like brother, father, teacher, guide, mentor.”
She learned the hard way that pursuing fame and money can never satisfy.
“And I was so open and honest with God, and that’s all God wants is just your honesty. He doesn’t need you to come to him clean. He needs you as you are,” she emphasized.
Her advice for new believers? Prioritize God.
“I’d say to anyone listening, who is like, ‘What do I do? I’m so new to this.’ Put God above everything,” Ray urged. “Wake up, spend time with God. That’s, like, how you fill yourself. It doesn’t matter if you think you’re too busy — you’re not. Cut time in for it. Like, that’s what I’ve had to do. Everything that I do has to revolve around Him. My day has to be about Him, because He’s the one who allowed me to wake up.”
The Bible also encourages us to seek God in the morning.
Psalm 143:8 says, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”
Praise God for how He beautifully transforms lives like Ray’s.
