Chris Tomlin just released a new EP in time for the holidays: Holy Forever: Christmas Songs of Worship.
He released the EP last year as an exclusive for Apple Music Session. Now the four songs are available on all digital service providers, like Spotify and Amazon Music.
“Christmas started with a song. As it says in scripture, the angel appeared and sang, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased,’” said Tomlin. “When we gather in worship, we are joining in on that eternal song.”
“My hope is that this Christmas version of ‘Holy Forever’ reminds you of the very reason for this incredible holiday and what we celebrate at Christmas each year,” he continued. “The birth of our savior, who is the same yesterday today and forever…he is Holy Forever.”

The track list includes:
- “Holy Forever (Christmas🎄)”
- “Emmanuel God With Us”
- “Angels We Have Heard On High”
- “Noel” (feat. Franni Cash, Ashlyn Tomlin and Madison Tomlin)
He shared on Nov. 7, “My hope is that this Christmas version of Holy Forever reminds you of the very reason for this incredible holiday and what we celebrate at Christmas each year!”
Tomlin just celebrated the September release of his 14th studio album, The King is Still the King.
“If I could pick one word to describe this album, it would be celebration. Scripture talks so often about creation praising God—rivers clap their hands and mountains sing,” he said. “I wanted to bring that into the album using the sounds God created—wind, thunder, rain, waves and birds.:
“This record is full of sounds that celebrate who God is,” he shared. “Not just in lyrics, but in how it feels. My hope is the whole record brings joy and life – lifting people up in their spirit.”
The artist just finished his An Evening of Worship with Chris Tomlin tour on Nov. 8. He’ll set out on a Christmas tour on Dec. 4 with Jamie MacDonald, The Christian Beat reported. Soon after that tour ends, he’ll join other artists for Winter Jam 2026.
“We are in a moment in our country…one of revival and awakening that is being sparked by young people. Each night of Winter Jam is an opportunity to experience how God is continuing to move and use this generation,” shared Tomlin. “Let’s come together as the people of God, singing the praises of God, in the presence of God.”
We can’t wait to celebrate the birth of our savior this Christmas season with Tomlin’s new album.
