Is EUPHORIA ‘Fetish Slop?’ … That’s One Way to Put It.

The new EUPHORIA season isn’t any better than the last two, and we shouldn’t be surprised.

The first two episodes feature “disturbing” content and include a character’s decision to make money through OnlyFans in order to fund an extravagant wedding, Fox News reported.

“Euphoria should’ve just been cancelled and over with tbh it’s tiring seeing sam levinson turn the girls into worthless prostitutes for every single episode just say you hate women and pack this s—-y doomed show up,” one user wrote on X.

“I honestly think they jus [sic] didn’t know what to do with euphoria and that’s why the plot was lost so bad,” another user wrote. “It had so much potential and so many different story lines to dive into to keep the story true to different teenage struggles. Now it’s just fetish SLOP.”

In one of the scenes, Sydney Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, poses as an “adult baby.” The fetishization of children in any form is sickening, and we don’t need TV shows to promote that — and thankfully, viewers realize that.

“The way the director sexualizes all these girls for this show is very disturbing to me and like I will never watch Euphoria that being one of the main reasons,” another user wrote.

Aside from the extreme sexual images, viewers are also disturbed by several of the characters “body-packing” drugs across borders and collecting them in strainers upon arrival, Express reported. Another character, Rue, becomes a manager at a strip club.

Both of the prior seasons also feature alarming and inappropriate content that focuses on teens, sex and drugs.

The BBC, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The New York Post, Vulture, Variety and The Independent all criticized Season 3. Several pointed out that it seems all for show and shock. There’s nothing meaningful about these characters’ lives, which are practically in ruin.

One of the most deeply saddening things about the show is that one of its own cast members died from a drug overdose — one of many — and yet, the show still goes on.

Angus Cloud died in 2023. In the show, he played a drug dealer. The show justifies and even celebrates drug use. It’s not a stretch to think this could have affected Cloud’s outcome. If he never participated in this show, he might still be alive today.

So, is EUPHORIA fetish slop? Yes, and it always has been with its depiction of minors in hyper-sexual clothing and situations. Should it be cancelled? Absolutely. In fact, it should have never aired. This show has brought nothing but harm since its creation.
