DUCK DYNASTY’s Si Robertson witnessed to 400 men at California’s San Quentin Prison, and over half of them gave their lives to Christ.

“I’m gonna tell you about the man! I’m gonna tell you about Jesus Christ, the Lord and king of kings, baby,” Robertson said from a stage inside the prison last year. “There ain’t nothing he can’t do. Nothing.”

He recalled that in the beginning, God’s “word became flesh,” and that’s how Jesus became man — a man who could perform miracles and bring the dead to life.

“[Nothing] you or me could do…could keep us from His love,” he gestured to the crowd. “Jesus Christ loves you. He bled out for you, for crying out loud.”

He then pointed to the “big red ball” in the sky — the sun.

“I know the man that put it there,” Robertson said, “along with the moon and the stars.”

He created every intricate part of the universe.

“He’s the Lord of lords, King of kings,” Robertson continued. “That’s why everybody you come in contact to, you need to tell them, ‘Hey, look here. I am a child of I Am.’ Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the life and the resurrection.'”

Over 200 of the 400 men who heard Robertson speak made the decision to follow Jesus, God Behind Bars reported.

San Quentin has the largest number of prisoners on death row in all of America, Country Rebel reported.

Korie Robertson, wife to Si’s nephew Willie Robertson, visited the same prison in 2020.

She said at the time, “Many of the men we got to meet had been in more than one prison, and every single one of them said ‘this place is different.’ It’s different because someone decided they were going to be different and that changed the world around them. Yes, there is darkness there (and everywhere) yes there are incredibly hard things happening, but there is also so much light.”

“So many smiles, so many men encouraging one another, so much talk of changed lives, hope, Jesus, because someone decided to do things differently, to treat others more kindly, to help rather than hurt,” she continued. “We are all one, what I do really matters to those around me and what you do really matters to me. Tuesday in San Quentin was a beautiful reminder of that.”

Robertson’s family’s show DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL just came out with another season this year. It’s available on AETV.com, Hulu, Philo and Sling TV.
