WAR ROOM is a powerful movie about the Jordan family that seems to have it all but is coming apart at the seams until they meet Miss Clara, a wise older woman who teaches them the power of prayer. This film has a very strong Christian moral worldview and looks positively at a Godly marriage. There is potential jeopardy of an extramarital affair, but it never comes to fruition. WAR ROOM takes viewers on an emotional journey where prayer defeats spiritual warfare.

LETTERS TO GOD
LETTERS TO GOD is an uplifting film that tells the story of a young boy fighting terminal cancer. He writes letters to God and touches the life of a postman who faces his own struggles. Tyler’s tenacious spirit inspires his entire community to improve their lives. It’s a heartwarming movie with a Christian worldview that contains no objectionable content – save for some light slapstick violence. Christians will be inspired to reflect on their own lives after watching LETTERS TO GOD.

THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES
THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES is a heartwarming film about a little girl named Sara who strengthens her prayers after hearing a sermon about faith moving mountains. Before long, animals and people in her town are miraculously healed. When it’s discovered that Sara has an inoperable brain tumor, she desperately needs a miracle of her own. This film has a strong Christian moral worldview, shining a light on prayer, family and miracles. There is light violence and some mischief but nothing too salacious. THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES is perfect for the 10+ crowd.

THE PRAYER BOX is a Kairos Prize-winning film about a teenage boy named Wesley whose sister has cancer. When he witnesses a troubled pastor throwing away a box filled with prayer requests, he takes it upon himself to make the prayers come true. He hopes that the Lord will see his efforts and answer his prayer for the healing of his sister. It’s a delightful movie extolling faith and forgiveness. THE PRAYER BOX will remind everyone to trust God’s plan for their lives.

GOD BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD is a beautiful movie about restoration. It tells the story of Amanda, a war widow grieving the loss of her husband. She faces trials and tribulations with a shaken faith in God. When a race car driver rolls into town, she must decide between living a fast life or following God’s path. This film has a very strong, patriotic Christian worldview. It features light war violence and moments of psychological pain. GOD BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD is about overcoming loss through God’s love.

UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION
UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION is based on the book written by Lauren Hillenbrand and picks up where her first book, “Unbroken,” left off. It follows Louis Zamperini, a World War II hero and Olympian, as he assimilates into civilian life. He’s forever changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It features a very strong Christian worldview with a family who gathers in prayer. Parents should know there is light violence and some foul language. Due to adult themes, UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION is best suited for adults and teenagers 16+.

A faithful mother prays for her son’s healing and restoration after he drowns in a lake. It features a very strong Christian worldview that shines a light on the power of prayer. Parents should know there is light violence with scenes of peril that may frighten young children. BREAKTHROUGH is a heart-rending film filled with lessons about prayer.

MOVIEGUIDE® dubs WHAT IF an extremely well-made, funny, heartwarming, pointedly Christian spinoff of THE FAMILY MAN with Nicolas Cage. The plot centers around Ben Walker (played by Kevin Sorbo), who is given a glimpse of what life would be like if he followed his heart. The movie contains a very strong biblical and evangelical worldview. WHAT IF has mild violence but nothing overtly disturbing. It’s a fun film with a great message that the whole family can enjoy.

MIRACLES FROM HEAVEN
MIRACLES FROM HEAVEN is a life-changing movie based on the novel by Christine Beam, whose daughter, Anna Beam, suffers from an incurable medical disorder. She is miraculously cured when she accidentally falls 60 feet into the hollow of a tree. This faith-based family drama features a mother and father who lean on each other (and God) in a time of crisis. Scenes with jeopardy and children’s diseases may be intense for young children. This one is a tear-jerker, so have a box of tissues nearby.
