‘Such A Privilege’: Wynonna Judd Joins THE VOICE As Mega Mentor

Wynonna Judd is joining THE VOICE as a mega mentor.
“I’m a Judd, not a judge,” the country star posted on Instagram. “It is SUCH a privilege to be the Mega Mentor on this season of @nbcthevoice!!!!”
Deadline reported that Judd “will mentor the artists who have made it through the Battle Rounds as teams prepare for the three-way Knockouts beginning Nov. 6.”
Judd will join fellow country superstar Reba McEntire on THE VOICE.
“I love her being on THE VOICE,” McEntire said in an Instagram video. “We’re neighbors in Tennessee and we have to get out here in LA to see each other!”
Judd added, “It’s one of the reasons I decided to do this show because you’re here, and I wanted to work with you.”
McEntire has already been confirmed as a judge on the upcoming Season 25, along with John Legend, Chance the Rapper and country duo Dan + Shay.
“I’m just having a blast. The producers, everybody in the team, just love them all,” she said of her time on THE VOICE. “It’s fun rivalry, but we have the best time on that show.”

Country star Reba McEntire revealed in a recent Newsweek interview that she is “loving” her new role on THE VOICE and is learning how to judge gently.
“It’s a well-oiled machine, so getting in at this time is marvelous. Everybody knows the game plan, from the crew, the producers,” McEntire said. “Everybody on the show is so nice, so sweet and have been so helpful. I’m loving it.”
Newsweek also asked McEntire how it feels to take Blake Shelton’s place and judge alongside Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani and John Legend.
“It’s a lot of pressure, because nobody can replace Blake Shelton. He’s a huge personality and a wonderful person,” she said. “So I’m just getting in there trying to have fun and represent country music as best I can.”
