Jason Melton, star of Wonder Project’s ADVENTURE IN WONDER, hopes the series inspires others to “have a great adventure and see God’s glory.”

“I nearly died in a snow skiing accident. My wife is a cancer survivor and recently came out of that…and we have four amazing kids, but we just saw time flying by so fast,” he told Movieguide® of the show’s inspiration. “We just wanted to make the most of it while they’re still in our home, and so that’s what really prompted us to get out of our comfort zone and go on an adventure like this.”

ADVENTURE IN WONDER follows the Melton family as they “abandon their comfort zone for a transformative sailing journey through Croatia’s stunning coastline,” per a description of the show.

“Partnering with experienced sailors, they navigate treacherous waters, cultural discoveries, and personal breakthroughs,” the description continues. “Through challenges and wonder, they learn that adventure isn’t about the destination — it’s about embracing uncertainty together and finding magic in every moment.”

Melton shared, “All in all, it was just such an incredible opportunity to grow together, to learn how to communicate better together, and to see some of God’s amazing creation, and the beauty and different cultures.”

“We love the Lord,” he continued. “We believe in Him and see God’s glory all around us, and that was really the heart behind sharing this adventure with others.”

Melton said that he hopes ADVENTURE IN WONDER will “hopefully inspire people…to look around them, to really have curiosity about noticing the things of God all around them and to get out and explore.”

“You don’t have to travel around the world to have a great adventure and see God’s glory. It’s available everywhere, all around us,” he concluded. “And there’s just so many miracles around us, everywhere.”

ADVENTURE IN WONDER is just one of many exciting projects Wonder Project has recently put out. The studio’s offerings are massively popular; last year, they reported over 500,000 subscription signups in the first three weeks since launching a subscription offering on Amazon Prime Video.

“The data confirms what we believed: millions of people have been waiting for exactly this. Faith is an audience, not a genre — and our viewing patterns prove it,” said Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten, the CEO of Wonder Project. “Families are gathering again. They’re choosing shared experiences over separate screens. That’s what we built Wonder to deliver, and that’s exactly what’s happening.”

ADVENTURE IN WONDER is now available to stream through Wonder Project’s partnership with Amazon Prime Video.
