Alexa PenaVega is already getting a jumpstart on her 2026 resolution!
“For 2026, there are a lot of dreams and goals that I am super hopeful for this coming year, but the biggest thing is discipline,” she said in a video for an Instagram Q&A.
PenaVega continued, “I’m tired of waiting around for X,Y and Z to happen. I don’t want to sit back. So many doors are right there, about to be open, and I just said, ‘You know what, God? I need to zero in and really be disciplined this year.’”
The actress shared that she’s already started implementing discipline in her life before the new year, saying, “And that has already been so unbelievably life-changing.”

“Discipline. That’s my big word for 2026,” PenaVega concluded.
PenaVega also has plenty of exciting projects in the works. In a recent interview with Parade, she revealed she will “have a couple of books coming out.”
“One will be a children’s book. And then one is a book that I’m writing with my husband that I’m really excited to share with everybody,” she shared.
PenaVega also touched on her and husband Carlos PenaVega’s “really clean vitamin company called Good Things.”
“We’re really proud of that,” she said. “And we launch our kids gummy in the next couple of weeks.”
The actress is also preparing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of SPY KIDS, the movie she starred in as a child.
“It’s so special, and I still feel really close to everybody who was a part of that project. I’m still friends with Daryl Sabara, who played my brother in the movie, and we talk often,” PenaVega told Woman’s World. “And the director, Robert Rodriguez — I can’t say too much, but what I will say is people are going to be very excited over the next year or so with some things that are happening.”
She called the movie set “magical,” adding, “We didn’t have social media back then and our brains weren’t occupied in that way, so we were really present when we were on set. We were kids playing the most extreme version of dress-up that you could play…I come from a very large family with six siblings, and we’d all go run around that set, so it was very much a part of their childhood as well as mine, and we grew up there. When you watch the movie, you could tell everyone was having a blast.”
It looks like 2026 is already set to be a big year for PenaVega!
