Brittany Lutz on Miscarriage, Infertility: ‘The Lord Redeemed’

By Movieguide® Contributor

In an emotional Instagram post, Brittany Lutz, wife of actor Kellen Lutz, celebrated God’s blessings in her life after infertility and miscarriage.

“5 years ago doctors told me there was a very small chance I would be able to carry a pregnancy because of fibroids and endometriosis and that small window was narrowing rapidly,” Lutz shared on Wednesday.

“4 years ago I got pregnant with our first miracle daughter and couldn’t believe I was finally going to be a mother,” she continued. “3 years ago she passed away in the 3rd trimester and I almost died due to complications.”

Movieguide® previously reported Lutz’s comments on the anniversary of her daughter’s death:

“This day last year, 1/30/20, in my 7th month of pregnancy, I walked into a drs appointment SO excited to see our girl. Kellan was in NY and I was in LA where our dr was. (He was going to wrap the show & we were going to deliver in LA) I was practically giddy in the drs office and couldn’t wait to send him pictures and videos of our daughter,” Brittany shared in an emotional reflection on Instagram. “Instead, I had to call him and tell him that our sweet girl was with with Jesus. Even though she was still in my body. Talk about psychological torment.”

Her post continued, “2 years ago I gave birth to my second miracle daughter and the Lord redeemed what the enemy tried to steal. 1 year ago I gave birth to my miracle boy and He restored even more.”

Even though she faced terrible loss, God ultimately gave her what she desired most. Lutz is grateful for what He gave her.

She concluded:

Today- I’m living in answered prayers and am so happy majority of every single day I could burst.

Even though we don’t always know how He’ll fulfill the desires of our hearts, don’t let what life throws at you stop you from believing that those dreams and desires will become realities.

God is good.

He is faithful.

And He’s always on time.

Lutz knows the power of God’s love and redemption in her life. She frequently tries to encourage and share that hope with her followers.

In October 2022, Lutz said, “If you’re going through a difficult season there is hope and happiness on the other side. But the only way to get to the other side is to go through. You’re stronger than you know. You’re not alone. Don’t give up. Keep going.”

PEOPLE reported another one of Lutz’s messages: “I just want to encourage anyone who’s out there going through a really hard time, or a storm that you are just like what the heck and you’re tempted to jump ship on whether it’s your marriage, or God or whatever, I encourage you to just hold on because the future is so much sweeter than the past if you hold on.”

“I know it’s hard, I know it sucks sometimes and the pain is literally unbearable but God will restore and redeem and will trade all of your ashes for beauty, I promise,” Lutz said.
