You Won’t Want to Miss Candace Cameron Bure’s Next Podcast Series

By Movieguide® Contributor

Candace Cameron Bure just announced the launch of a brand new podcast series that explores her love of movies.

“We have a special podcast series launching next week,” Bure announced in a video. “If you love watching a good movie but want to know more about how movies are made or what’s going on behind the scenes, you’re going to love this series.”

Andrew Erwin of Kingdom Storytellers will be joining as Bure’s co-host. The pair also collaborated on UNSUNG HERO, which released earlier this year.

“His brain is loaded with film trivia stories about some of your favorite actors and characters,” she said.

Bure continued, “We’ve picked six movies…and we’re going to kind of go in-depth as to why it’s such a great film, what the storytelling means behind it [and] also see where we can tie in faith.”

“Thrilled to talk movies and faith with you @candacecbure,” Erwin commented on an Instagram post announcing the series. “This has been so much fun. Your fans are gonna have a blast listening to this.”

The first episode of the podcast series will drop Sept. 20.

Bure recently spoke about her son Lev’s recent marriage, telling PEOPLE she “can’t wait to be a grandma.”

“I don’t know when that’s gonna happen — no pressure from me,” the actress clarified, adding, “Babies are the best, so I just want cuddles and kisses, and to munch on little chubby legs and hands and feet.”

Bure is also getting ready for the Christmas season and the premiere of her latest GAF holiday movie HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS. Movieguide® previously reported:

Great American Family has announced an exciting new movie to add to its catalog of Christmas films.

HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS, starring Candace Cameron Cure and Cameron Mathison, is set to premiere during this year’s  Great American Christmas.

The pair were originally slated for JINGLE BELLS, WEDDING BELLS, but that movie won’t go into production this year.

“In HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS, Sophie Marlow (Bure), a successful mergers and acquisitions attorney, is called home to Waynesbridge, Washington, following her great uncle’s passing,” the synopsis reads. “Uncle Henry left Sophie 60% ownership in his Marlow Maple Meadows, a sprawling patch of sugar maple forest. Though Sophie hasn’t been on the property in decades, she immediately begins retracing the happy steps of her youth before encountering Sam (Mathison), her long-lost, childhood friend. Sam has returned to the farm after learning Henry left him the other 40% of the property. The legacy property means a quick sale is likely, though Sophie and Sam will discover neither of them is ready to let go just yet.”

Bure took to Instagram to share her excitement for the film.

“HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS 🏠🎄❄️ coming to a @greatamericanfamily channel this Christmas season 😍✨” she captioned in the post. “We’ve been waiting 15 years to do a Christmas movie together and it’s finally happening!!! We can’t wait for you to enjoy this movie alongside your family ❤️ #greatamericanfamily #greatamericanchristmas #homesweetchristmas.”
