Candace Cameron Bure’s son Lev is married!
“I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Lev Bure,” she captioned a picture of the family. “Words cannot express the joy we have felt this weekend celebrating the marriage of our son and his bride Elliott. We gained a beautiful daughter and a wonderful family to do life with. I have an overwhelming sense of love, joy, peace and contentment thanks to God’s blessing of family and friendship. My heart is so full.”
Bure continued, “I’m grateful for our generational blessing of long lasting Christ-centered marriages; to have a legacy of great-grandparents and grandparents who have shown us the way. And now, being the example for our children and their children to come ??. If this isn’t a blessing, I don’t know what is.”
The FULL HOUSE actress remarked on the happiness of the occasion, adding, “The Holy Spirit was present, the gospel was preached and love filled the air. Covenant vows were made and hearts watching were reminded of theirs long ago ♥️♥️.
“What a glorious day!!!! This mama is over the moon HAPPY!!!! Congratulations to Lev and Elliott Bure!!!!!!” she concluded.
Her brother, Kirk Cameron, also posted about Lev’s wedding.
“What an inspiring weekend with family celebrating one of God’s most beautiful and sacred creations: marriage,” he wrote. “Congratulations Lev & Elliott! ????? May God bless your relationship and fill your lives with a continually deepening love for Him, each other, and for those around you.”
Bure revealed her son’s engagement in December, telling Us Weekly, “We are gaining a daughter very soon. My son is getting married just after Christmas, and so we’re very excited. She is definitely, definitely invited into the family, but we’ll see how the holidays work out in that way. Now it’s, like, two families. We’ll probably be vying for the kids every year.”
Movieguide® previously reported on Lev’s engagement:
Candace Cameron Bure is celebrating a new addition to her family — her son Lev is getting married.
The actress said she has no plans to get too involved in the wedding planning.
“I’m definitely finding my place in the wedding and just being supportive, and I love that. Of course, I want to help and do everything, but I’m learning to settle into my position of just being available and supportive,” Bure said.
Bure also shared the advice she’s giving Lev as he prepares for this new chapter in his life.
“I think the marriage advice has been [given] along the way,” the actress explained. “That’s what parenting is, right? It’s just like constant teaching and advice. They are great people, and we are rooting them on. They’re amazing.”
She continued, “So, I think the best advice for them is that they know that we’re here for them for any questions, any needs that they want. We’re always here and ready to be available and answer.”
