Actress and influencer Candace Cameron Bure shared a meaningful Bible verse she has been re-reading lately.
In an Instagram post, she shared James 1:2-4, which reads, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
Bure wrote, “This verse has been heavy on my heart lately…Is there a specific verse that you have been constantly going back to?”
Many of her followers shared their favorite verse as well, including Isaiah 26:3-4, John 16:33, Psalm 9:9-10 and Romans 8:38-39.
The actress previously shared why she grounds her life in the Bible, saying that it is “truth.”
“I can always go back to the word of God and find the hope, the encouragement, the positivity, the trust that I know I have in Jesus. And so it never fails, even when life doesn’t go the way I want it to or had planned it to. I know that God’s in control of everything,” Bure told Fox News.
For Bure, “My faith is not something that stays at home,” she explained. “My faith goes with me everywhere I go.”
“My faith is so the core and foundation of who I am that sometimes I don’t verbally acknowledge it because it’s just my assumption,” she said. “It’s like, well, ‘If you get Candace, you get faith.’ It’s one and the same. It is with me all the time. It is in all that I do.”
Bure often shares encouragement on her social media page to help her followers form a deeper relationship with Jesus. She also does this through her podcast.
