Candace Cameron Bure Fights Her Battles by Staying Rooted in the Word of God

Candace Cameron Bure knows that a biblical foundation is critical to surviving motherhood, being a wife, acting, and, well, everything.
“This is how I fight my battles- with the Word of God, rooted in His truth,” the actress posted to Instagram to announce the sale of her devotional book, Authentic Living.
Authentic Living was the mother of three’s first devotional book and debuted last fall.
In the book, “Candace Cameron Bure credits living in the way the Bible tells us to live as the reason for her success. In this Bible-study styled series, Candace draws readers in to discover what the Bible says about the issues women face in life and in a way that is inviting and easy to understand,” according to the book description.
Authentic Living contains 23 of Bure’s devotionals with Bible verses and easy-to-answer questions. Bure says the book is a practical way to live out your faith every day.
The actress has been vocal about maintaining her faith in an industry that can often destroy Christians.
“The thing to me that was most surprising is that over the years I’ve been embraced as a woman of faith in the entertainment industry,” Bure told The Day. “I didn’t set out to do that and I didn’t expect that to happen. I’m very happy that I’ve been able to navigate both being very open about my faith and … still have all of these different jobs in the entertainment industry and be able to incorporate some of that into them — not all of them, because that’s also not my goal. I’ve never been someone who makes only Christian content or faith-based content.”
Instead, Bure focuses on family-friendly entertainment and using her actions to preach the Gospel.
Because of her integrity, she maintains an incredible Christian witness on and off the set. She even hosted the 2019 Movieguide® Awards Gala and Report to the Entertainment Industry.
Bure will next appear in the Hallmark Christmas movie, IF I ONLY HAD CHRISTMAS.
