CBS All Access’ Streaming Service Will Re-Brand as Paramount+ in 2021

ViacomCBS is set to re-brand it’s streaming service, CBS All Access, to become Paramount+ in early 2021.
ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish released a statement regarding the re-brand.
“Paramount is an iconic and storied brand beloved by consumers all over the world, and it is synonymous with quality, integrity and world-class storytelling,” he said. “With Paramount+, we’re excited to establish one global streaming brand in the broad-pay segment that will draw on the sheer breadth and depth of the ViacomCBS portfolio to offer an extraordinary collection of content for everyone to enjoy.”
Paramount+ will operate separately from its sister streaming service, Showtime.
According to Deadline, both Showtime and CBS All Access launched in 2015, ahead of the streaming frenzy of the last few years.

Since their launch, new stand-alone streaming services have popped up every year. Apple TV+, Disney+, Peacock, and HBOMax have all entered the arena that was already being used by Netflix and Hulu.
What kind of content will this streaming service feature?
Paramount+ will have broadcast television, news, sports, and entertainment brands, according to Deadline.
ViacomCBS has announced some original programming since launching, including a series about the making of THE GODFATHER and a show from Taylor Sheridan, the creator of the uber-popular series YELLOWSTONE.
As more streaming services enter the market, it will make deciding what services are good for your family even more important.
