Chip and Joanna Gaines Delay Magnolia Network Launch

By Tess Farrand, Associate Content Editor

Christian couple Chip and Joanna Gaines delayed the launch of their new network, Magnolia, in light of COVID-19.

“Right now, it’s important that we all continue to look out for one another by upholding the guidelines set forth by the experts, leaders and front-line heroes working tirelessly to get us all through this difficult time,” the renovators-turned-TV-stars told Deadline.

The parents of five felt this was the best move in order to keep their productions running with the best quality.

Magnolia hasn’t announced a new launch date.

However, the Gaines will host a preview event on April 26 that showcases what they have planned for the network.

Joanna said on Instagram, “We just couldn’t wait til the official network launch to share what we’ve been working on, so join us for an exciting sneak peek!”

Despite the delay, Deadline shared Magnolia’s lineup:

  • GROWING FLORET
  • HOME ON THE ROAD
  • BESPOKE KITCHENS
  • FAMILY DINNER
  • RESTORATION ROAD
  • THE FIELDHOUSE
  • SUPER DAD
  • HOME WORK
  • THE LOST KITCHEN
  • INN THE WORKS

Let us know if you plan to watch the preview event in the comments below!
