Christian Business Defies Obamacare on Abortion Pill

The arts and crafts chain Hobby Lobby will refuse to obey a federal mandate requiring it to offer the morning-after abortion pill to its employees, an attorney for Hobby Lobby said.

The statement about the chain’s decision was made after radical feminist Supreme Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor denied Hobby Lobby’s request for an injunction while its lawsuit against Obamacare regulations is pending.

Sotomayor was appointed to the high court by President Barack Obama, the most pro-abortion politician ever elected to the presidency.

Hobby Lobby and religious bookseller Mardel Inc., owned by the same Christian family, could face fines of up to $1.3 million per day for refusing to follow the abortion bill regulations.

A district judge has ruled that Hobby Lobby and Mardel are not religious organizations, so they aren’t exempt from Obamacare’s pro-abortion mandates.

If his decision stands, then religious freedom is dead in the United States.
