Justin Bieber is going through a hard time right now, but amidst the crisis, he acknowledges that Jesus is the one who saves.

“I will never suppress my emotions for someone. Conflict is a part of relationship. If you don’t like my anger you don’t like me,” Bieber displayed in a text exchange with someone he decided to cut ties with. “My anger is a response to pain I have been through.”

“Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean,” he continued.

The person explained that they aren’t used to having someone lash out at them.

“It’s not that I don’t see and feel your anger,” the person said.

“Ouch. This friendship is officially over,” Bieber replied. “I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out. I enjoyed our short lived relationship.”

“I wasn’t kidding when I told you I didn’t need you as a friend. I have good friends. Who will respect these boundaries,” Bieber said.

The exchange continued with Bieber calling the person a crude name and informing them he’s blocking them.

The next day, Bieber wrote, “People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already? I know I’m broken.”

He admitted he does have anger issues and has tried to fix them but keeps getting more angry.

“The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am. Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others,” he said.

A couple of days before Father’s Day, paparazzi harassed Bieber.

“I’m just demanding respect. You confuse my anger with disrespect. It’s anger because you’re disrespecting me you don’t get to disrespect me and get away with it,” he told them.

“You don’t get to force questions in people’s face and take videos out of context and use it against people, that’s mean,” he said.

Bieber’s recent activity has been odd and hard for some of his fans to interpret. He sometimes posts snippets of conversations or random photos, and the meaning isn’t clear. He recently posted a photo of a large joint captioned with a puff of air emoji and a video of a bong. In live videos and in-person appearances, he appears gaunt.

The Hollywood Reporter said he’s mentioned multiple times that he feels angry and has said he feels “unworthy” and like he’s “drowning and unsafe.” But he also frequently mentions God and Jesus in his posts and Instagram stories.

Bieber is clearly going through something difficult right now, but he knows that Jesus is the only one who can bring him out of his darkness.

It seems like Justin Bieber wants to be in a better place, and we pray that he finds the peace he seeks. If he spends time in prayer and scripture, if he opens his heart to God, he will find Him, and we pray he does.
