Tubi just launched a new program designed to bring digital content creators to the ad-supported streaming platform.
“We’re listening to our viewers and recognize their desire for more stories that reflect culture and talent from the digital world,” Anjali Sud, CEO of Tubi, said in a press release. “As the home for free, premium entertainment, Tubi is uniquely poised to bring the creator economy to Hollywood and expand the pathways for creators to succeed in long-form storytelling.”
To oversee this new platform, Tubi has appointed Rich Bloom as General Manager, Creator Programs & Executive Vice President, Business Development.
“Rich has spent his career in video partnering and supporting creators, and I’m excited for him to accelerate our efforts to help more storytellers find their audience and bring more unique stories to our fans,” Sud said.
Bloom said, “I’m thrilled to join Tubi as they are committed to offering creators unique opportunities, creative freedom and importantly, an audience. Many creators today function like full-fledged production studios creating longer-form, episodic content that is a perfect fit for broader distribution and Tubi is the right partner to level-up their content and grow their audience.”

The first YouTube brands to join Tubi for Creators are Mythical Entertainment (headed by comedic duo Rhett & Link), Watcher (known for their unscripted series), Dan and Riya, (a comedy group), Jubilee (political and social discussions), Kinigra Deon (scripted dramedy videos) and FunnyMike (a comedian and musician).
Over 500 videos are being rolled out on Tubi as part of the initial launch, giving these content creators the chance to expand their audiences.

The streaming service hopes to expand Tubi for Creators in the future “and for Tubi to eventually start funding creators’ productions,” per Kidscreen.
This isn’t the first creator program Tubi has launched. In 2024, the streamer announced Stubios, a streaming platform and “fan-fueled studio.”
Stubios is part of a “programming strategy that resonates with younger and diverse audiences,” Sud explained, via Variety. “Stubios is a way to give creatives with invested fanbases an opportunity to tell stories that may not otherwise be greenlit in Hollywood, and it will enable Tubi to ensure our programming reflects culture as it is happening.”
Actor, writer and producer Issa Rae is serving as a mentor for Stubios creators, saying in a statement, “I am deeply passionate about creating pathways to sustainable careers into Hollywood for creatives of diverse backgrounds. We at ColorCreative [her management and production company] are thrilled to see Tubi taking this important and bold step, and we’re excited to support and guide Stubios creatives on their first long-form projects.”
Tubi’s latest move to spotlight online content creators is a creative way for the platform to stand out among other streamers.
