Comedian Bert Kreischer is counting his blessings after escaping death in a tour bus fire.
“Alright, here’s everything you need to know about the bus,” Kreischer shared on Monday with images of the burnt remains of the bus.
He was one hour into a journey after leaving his last tour stop in Fargo, North Dakota, when a front tire blew and ripped off the rim, Fox News Digital reported.
“Both bus drivers said they’d never seen anything like it in their 35 years,” the FREE BERT star said. “We waited for a couple of hours, and then we ditched the bus and got on the crew buses and drove into Cedar Rapids. That morning, our bus caught on fire on the road.”
Hours before the bus blew up, Kreischer was literally cursing his predicament. He called the blown tire “scary” but little did he know it would get much scarier.

The entire front half of the bust was totally engulfed in flames and destroyed.
“Everyone is fine. The bus driver, Dewy, he got out in time,” Kreischer said. “He said literally the fire started and in 15 seconds, the front cabin was in flames.
“Here’s the good thing to know – had we slept on that bus, we all would have been trapped in the back and be dead today. Yesterday, we would have been dead yesterday,” he said.
He continued, “So, it was a blessing that we had a blow out. It was a blessing. So today, as frustrated as you may get, realize everything is a blessing. God works in mysterious ways.”
Last year, an Australian metal singer, Kim Dracula, also experienced a tour bus fire, Rolling Stone reported. He too miraculously escaped death.
“I was in the back behind a locked door and was woken up by my crew banging on the door telling me to get off the bus,” the musician said. “We all got off immediately and within 30 seconds the entire bus was engulfed in flames, starting right where I was laying down.”
Everyone on the bus made it out. They lost gear, phones and personal possessions.
Last year, Ice Cube’s crews’ bus caught on fire for a different reason — vandalism.
The bus was parked in front of a hotel when a front wheel caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the flames and ventilated the smoke from the bus.
Ice Cube wrote on X, “…Everybody was upstairs sleeping. Nobody hurt. No equipment damaged. A coward set fire to the bus. My bus was actually in Oakland getting serviced.”
Thank God that no one was hurt in any of these scary incidents.
