Dave Coulier Wants To ‘Keep Bob [Saget]’s Legacy Alive’ With Proposed FULL HOUSE Reboot

FULL HOUSE star Dave Coulier shared hopes for a reboot of the show that would pay tribute to late co-star Bob Saget.

Coulier appeared at 90s Con with FULL HOUSE co-stars Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, and Jodie Sweetin. During a panel, they were asked if they would ever work together again, whether it was for a FULL HOUSE project, or something unrelated.

“I would love to do FULLEST HOUSE, where maybe it’s like all of us as adults, and we’re kind of like the FRIENDS cast where we sit around and talk, and we share moments, and we keep Bob’s legacy alive,” Coulier shared.

Barber added, “We’re doing that right now.”

Coulier went on to say that he loved working with his FULL HOUSE castmembers.

“You either have that chemistry or you don’t,” the actor explained, adding that days on set with them were full of laughter and fun: “The days fly by, and you don’t want them to end because we have so much love for each other.”

Coulier has previously spoken about his relationship with Saget, who passed away in 2022. Movieguide® reported:

Dave Coulier remembered his FULL HOUSE co-star and friend, the late Bob Saget, in a recent interview.

“We made each other laugh,” Coulier shared. “And, you know, it was me, Bob and [the late] Garry Shandling, and Saget always had a three-way calling, so the three of us would be on the road, and Bob always would patch me and Garry in, and we were like three fifth graders.”

Coulier met Saget when he was just 18 years old and starting out as a young comic. He even ended up sleeping on Saget’s couch while they were filming and “became instant friends.”

The actor also shared what he would remember most about his FULL HOUSE days.

“We laughed our tails off,” Coulier said. “We had such a good time that we still talk about the stories when we get together,” he said. “We are very close. We are a very — it is almost insane that a TV show becomes a real family. But we did.”

“We have been there for everything from, you know, the start of our show to the cancellation of our show from being no-names to being huge names from births, divorces, deaths, marriages — you name it. We have been through it like a real family,” he concluded.
