Dennis Quaid’s REAGAN Now Available on DVD and Blu-Ray

Dennis Quaid’s REAGAN is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
“From small-town roots to the glitter of Hollywood and political dreams culminating to the office of the President of the United States, REAGAN is a cinematic journey following the life of Ronald Reagan from his childhood up to the global impact he made leading his country,” Lionsgate’s program description reads.
Quaid stars alongside Penelope Ann Miller, Jon Voight, Kevin Dillon and Mena Suvari.
“It was a very daunting role for me…I voted for him,” Quaid told Crosswalk Headlines earlier this year. “But I didn’t want it to just be a love letter, either. You always want to try to get to who he was.”
Movieguide® praised the biopic’s portrayal of the United States’ 40th president.
Dennis Quaid gives a bravura performance in REAGAN as the beloved President, union leader and movie star. He’s just as good during the more intimate scenes as he is in the iconic public scenes. He’s supported by a great cast, including Jon Voight as a KGB analyst who closely follows Reagan’s beliefs and behavior. The movie’s focus on Reagan’s fight against communism gives a strong narrative structure to REAGAN’s stirring story of faith and patriotism.

The movie found success at the box office, too, taking the No. 2 spot on Labor Day.
