Gospel music duo Erica and Warryn Campbell celebrated 25 years of marriage with a vow renewal ceremony.

First married in 2001, the couple renewed their vows at their church in California over the weekend. Over 600 people attended, including Stevie Wonder, Robi Reed, Joi Starr, Lena Byrd Miles and PJ Morton.

“Because why would you not celebrate 25 years of staying together?” Erica told PEOPLE. “When you have gone through sickness and health, better and worse, and all the beauty and battles that come with choosing a love like this, what remains after the storms of life is something truly beautiful and unshakable.”

“We feel like it is the perfect place to show our church family and the world an example of God’s love in marriage,” the multi-time Grammy award-winning artist added. “We now have 25 years of life and love behind us, along with a huge family that has watched us live it out. I know it sounds corny, but it honestly felt like the first time.”

Being staples in the Gospel music industry, the couple went all out for the music at their ceremony with live performers on both sides of the altar.

“We created a wedding playlist that includes songs connected to special moments in our lives, including ‘By Your Side,’ which was our first dance song, ‘Knocks Me Off My Feet’ by Stevie Wonder, and a song Warryn wrote called ‘In a Rush,’ recorded by Blackstreet,” Erica said.

Erica’s latest endeavor is the new movie, THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, a “Lifetime latest faith-based drama about a strong Christian woman grappling with the consequences of her actions and discovering the true meaning of faith, grace, and forgiveness,” she wrote in a post on social media.

The official logline for the film reads, “Cassie Newton, a renowned Christian feminist icon and bestselling author, finds her world turned upside down when she becomes the target of a blackmail scheme. Confronted with damning evidence of her extramarital affair, Cassie must navigate the treacherous waters of public scrutiny while fighting to salvage her marriage, career, and the trust of her devoted followers. As the stakes escalate and the betrayal of a once-trusted assistant comes to light, Cassie is forced to confront her own hypocrisy and make an impossible choice. Will she compromise her principles to protect her brand and the safety of her followers, or will she risk losing everything by exposing her own failings?” per the Gospel Music Association.

After 25 years, it looks like the Campbells foundation of faith keeps their marriage rock-solid. That’s something worth celebrating.
