Everything We Know About WHEN CALLS THE HEART’s Season 10 Finale

WHEN CALLS THE HEART is getting ready to wrap up its tenth season. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming finale and the next season.

The season finale of WHEN CALLS THE HEART will air Sunday, October 15, at 9 p.m. ET on the Hallmark Channel. It will also be available to stream on Peacock.

A description of the episode, titled “Starry Nights,” reads, “It’s election day in Hope Valley, and the results could have a big effect on the small town. Meanwhile, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Smith), who’ve already chosen Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) to be godmother to Goldie, discuss who should take on the role of godfather.”

Season 10 might be ending, but Hallmark has already revealed that an eleventh season is on the way.

“I am beyond excited for season 10 of WHEN CALLS THE HEART to premiere July 30,” Krakow, who also serves as an executive producer on the show, said in an earlier statement to Entertainment Tonight.

She continued, “This season is full of beautiful moments and exciting twists and turns. I can’t wait for the Hearties to see what we’ve created for them! And I’m so thrilled, proud and grateful to Hallmark that the show has been renewed for season 11. We have so many more stories to tell. With our amazing cast, crew, and brilliant writers, there will be no shortage of romance and new adventures for the residents of Hope Valley! Having the Hearties continue this journey with us has meant the world and we are thrilled to share what’s in store these next two seasons!”

Season 11’s production is on track despite the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes after the show received a waiver that allowed the cast and crew to continue production.

“I’m really very grateful for it because it’s not an opportunity that most people get. I’m so grateful that Hallmark Channel continues to keep WHEN CALLS THE HEART alive because it’s given all of us this opportunity,” Krakow said before Season 11 filming started. “It’s also really nice for our viewers to get to see these characters, to see their journeys over the course of what will have been 11 years by the end of Season 11 and hopefully there’s more to come.”

Erin Krakow revealed some exciting details about what fans can expect from WHEN CALLS THE HEART Season 10.

“I am very excited,” Krakow shared. “I have such a memory of being on set in season 1 and wrapping up the season, and we were talking as a cast about where we thought the show could go. And the fact that we are here celebrating the premiere of season 10, it’s remarkable. I am so grateful.”

The actress, who also serves as an executive producer on the Movieguide® Epiphany Prize®-nominated show, calls the upcoming season “packed.”

“We are truly leveling up the WHEN CALLS THE HEART experience,” Krakow said. “We are bringing in lots of exciting guest stars. We don’t know if they are good guys or bad guys. We have family visits, we have musical episodes — not a true musical episode, but there is music. There’s some singing. There’s a tourist destination–this hot springs in town. There’s a lot of romance. There’s a new baby. It’s a momentous season, as it should be in season 10.”
