Ex-psychic turned born-again Christian Jenn Nizza warned about allowing the occult to worm its way into your life and placing faith in a counterfeit version of Christ that leads to death and destruction.
“I was participating in sorcery, in witchcraft, except that it presents itself as light. And that’s the deception. Like that’s the whole agenda of the evil one: to deceive us” Nizza told California Living. “Love and light, this is the new age movement. You can have new enlightenment, you can raise your frequency, you can raise your vibration, as if you have any divinity, as if you have any special spiritual status that you can attain. And that’s what it always goes back to.”
While the occult and new age have always been around and found some level of popularity, they really took off during the pandemic when they offered control during a time when people felt particularly helpless. Through social media, dozens of new age religions were shared and taken up by millions.
Witchcraft, sorcery and demons may seem like things of the past that are incompatible with our current day. But in reality, they are real and pose a deadly threat to the spiritual life of those who practice them.
“The satanic culture is real, witchcraft is real, and I think we live in a culture where we like to act as if that’s just something that is make-believe, cute and entertaining to see in movies,” said “Trending with Timmerie” host Timerie. “Satan wants us to believe that.”
While culture makes light of the occult, allowing it to become mainstream, the Bible is extremely clear that the demon world is not something to mess with.
“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God,” God says in Leviticus 19:31, later adding in Leviticus 20:6, “I will set my face against anyone who turn to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people.”

The Lord is also clear that those who practice the occult will only find death and destruction and will be thrown into the lake of fire for eternity.
“The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death,” says Revelation 21:8.
For this reason, Nizza works hard to pull people from the life of the occult and help them find true life in Jesus instead. Though the occult promises a better life, Nizza knows firsthand how much of a lie that is and that the fate coming is even worse as the wrath of God comes down on all who work with the demons.
