Ford to Manufacture Respirators Using F-150 Part

Ford Motor company will begin to manufacture respirators for health care professionals using a part from the popular Ford Truck, the F-150.
COVID-19 merits creativity and innovation to provide worthwhile resources in this unprecedented time and Ford seems to be up to the challenge.
Starting tomorrow, we will begin production of a new powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR), with design and testing consultation from @3M.

Fox News reported that the respirator will be “Equipped with a 3M filter and rechargeable battery pack, the company said the device can be used for up to eight hours at a time.”
