Former Model Thanks God for Saving Her as She Beats Cancer

Former model Nicole Weider recently posted a photo to her Instagram account celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day.
The photo, which shows a picture of her talking on a black corded phone, begins with the joking caption “Calling God and thanking Him for saving me.”
She continued, “This is my first year where I will celebrate national cancer survivors day today June 2nd. I never thought I would be in the “cancer club” but being a survivor is the strongest thing I have ever gone through. It hasn’t been easy but I am so proud of myself! I’m so thankful because I have been getting all my strength back from finishing chemo. Just in time to love and soak up all the time with our newborn son! ?”
Weider was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in November 2023. In the post, she explained how her children gave her a reason to keep fighting for her life.
“Having 3 kids has been my biggest motivator to be the strongest version of myself and to never give up. And I won’t!” she said. “This is a new chapter in my life and even though I’ve gone through a cancer diagnosis which is crazy, I am in a great season of my life- my kids are all healthy and doing well, I love our home and city, and my health is improving. I feel so content.”
Weider ended the post by encouraging her followers to not give up because the trials they face will not last forever.
“If you’re going through a dark time know that it is only temporary. Hang on and push through it- it will get better I promise! Life is full of seasons and God is always writing your story. Thank you for being here and your prayers for me and positive words. It’s been such a blessing.”
She’s trusted God throughout her cancer battle.
“With Jesus, your prayers, God’s Word, my family and friends I’m going to fight this battle with everything I have! I can’t imagine people going through something like this without faith,” she posted in November.
Now, six months later, Weider is praising God for his strength.
“I’m so thankful to God and proud to say I’m a cancer survivor,” she posted. “It tried to take me down but with your prayers, my faith and medicine I have beat it. I still have maintenance shots and radiation to go but with Christ I can do all things who strengthens me.”

Nicole Weider is in remission from stage 4 cancer! The former model took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the miraculous news.
“Cancer update- it’s hard to even believe this and it feels surreal typing it but I am in REMISSION now from cancer!! Praise Jesus!” she began. “I had my PET scan last Friday and met with my oncologist yesterday and she said the radiologist couldn’t find any cancer on the scans!! I feel a little in disbelief. BUT she wants me to do one more chemo session (thank GOD) this Friday, but at a lesser dose.”
Because of the subtype of cancer, her response was successful, and her body responded well to treatment.
“She also said the type of cancer I have HER2+ is very responsive to all types of treatment and so she wants me to get radiation too. I haven’t been feeling that great lately because the treatments have been super hard but I’m so thankful I’m not turning a big corner in this journey. Just in time for our baby boy to be born!” Weider added.
