Country Star Celebrates ‘FAVORITE Time of the Year’ With New Christmas Album

Country singer Gabby Barrett is releasing her first christmas album, and she couldn’t be more excited!
“If you know me, you know that christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year,” Barrett announced on Instagram. “So I have been so excited to announce my new christmas album, ‘Carols and Candlelight’ will be available everywhere on 11.8.”
Barrett also shared that the first song, “I’ll Be Home For christmas,” will be out October 25.
“I know we’re close to Halloween, but my heart is in HOLIDAY MODE!!!!!” she finished.
The Christian Beat reported that the album will also include “11 christmastime favorites with a handpicked mix of traditional standards and heartwarming modern classics,” including “The First Noel” and “Last christmas.”
There will also be plenty of collaborations, from a version of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” with The Piano Guys to a duet with husband Cade Foehner on “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
Barrett has previously spoken about why she prefers to duet with her husband.

“Also included in the set is the awe-inspiring ‘Go Tell It On The Mountain’ (for KING & COUNTRY feat. Gabby Barrett), which was nominated for christmas Recorded Song of the Year at the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards (10/1),” TCB continued.
Speaking about the 2020 collab with music Row, Joel Smallbone musicrow.com/2020/09/for-king-country-celebrate-one-billion-streams-announce-a-drummer-boy-christmas-album-exclusive/">shared, “From her time on AMERICAN IDOL, and just being in Nashville, we’ve been aware of her talent and when we reached out, we found out she was sort of a fan of the band and believed in what we are doing. Her voice is beautiful and it worked really well with this song.”
In addition to her successful music career, Barrett is also mom to three young children — Baylah, Augustine and Ivy, who was born earlier this year.
