Don’t Miss These Great American Stars’ ‘Uplifting’ Videos to Kickstart Your 2025

The stars of Great American Media and Pure Flix are helping viewers start 2025 on the right foot with a series of inspirational videos.
“All throughout January, the stars of Great American Family and Pure Flix are connecting with fans in a unique and heartfelt way by sharing personal video messages about what they are focusing on in the new year,” a statement from the network reads. “These brief yet impactful videos will highlight themes of health, faith, trust, and gratitude to uplift and encourage audiences as they embark on their own 2025 journeys.”
Star and chief content officer Candace Cameron Bure kicked the series off on Jan. 1.
In her video, Bure shared, “I have two words of the year…one of my words of the year is create and my other word is whimsical. I want to look at life through the lens of whimsy and the incredible things that God is going to show me.”
Other videos include Danica McKellar talking about the power of gratitude, Carlos and Alexa Penavega on the importance of faith and Jillian Murray discussing her commitment to healthy living this year.
“These uplifting video messages highlight the personal journeys and core values of our stars, aiming to inspire others to embrace positivity, faith, and thoughtful reflection as we look forward to the year ahead,” Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott explained.
Bure and McKellar have big plans for 2025 — both announced they would be reading the Bible in its entirety this year.
“I want to prepare you that if you want to read through the Bible in a year to join me again with the Bible Recap,” she said in an Instagram video. “It’s hosted by Tara-Leigh Cobble, and it’ll take you through the Bible, reading chronologically.”
