INSIDE OUT 2 Breaks Records on Disney+

INSIDE OUT 2 is breaking records on Disney+ just like it did in theaters.
The Pixar movie is the highest-grossing animated film of all time and is now seeing similar success after its Sept. 25 release on the streamer.
“INSIDE OUT 2 drove 30.5 million views globally on Disney+, based on five days of streaming, making it the No. 1 film premiere on Disney+ in 2024, the No. 1 theatrical film premiere on Disney+ since Walt Disney Animation Studios’ ENCANTO (2021), and the No. 1 film premiere of all time in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and LATAM (Latin America),” a press release from Disney announced. “Since the first INSIDE OUT 2 teaser trailer premiered to record numbers, there have been more than 121 million views of Disney and Pixar’s INSIDE OUT (2015) globally on Disney+.”
The statement continued, “Released in theaters June 14, INSIDE OUT 2 continued to set new records throughout the summer. In addition to opening to record numbers, it enjoyed a massive second weekend and crossed the $1 billion mark in just 19 days—faster than any other animated film ever. It remains the highest-grossing movie of 2024, and the only animated film to ever cross $1 billion internationally.”
The movie’s continued success yet again proves that viewers value wholesome, family-friendly entertainment.

INSIDE OUT 2 also promotes kindness, friendship, repentance, and forgiveness. MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution for younger children for scenes of peril and a large scary-looking but nonthreatening character. Unlike other recent animated movies, INSIDE OUT 2 doesn’t have any woke or politically correct content.
