Minno, a faith-based streaming platform for kids, just launched the first-ever American Sign Language series for children.
“We’re building the most accessible Christian kids’ media platform in the world,” Erick Goss, CEO and co-founder of Minno, said in a statement about the ASL version of LAUGH AND GROW BIBLE FOR KIDS. “To our knowledge, this is the first time a Bible series for kids has ever been created in American Sign Language — and it’s just the beginning.”
He continued, “Every child deserves the chance to experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the way they learn best — whether through ASL, their native language, or as a story at bedtime. No other platform is delivering faith-based content for kids at this scale or quality.”
In an interview with CHVN Radio, Goss explained that the deaf community is “one of the most underserved communities in regard to Gospel resources,” which is what spurred Minno to create ASL versions for deaf kids.
Minno is working with Christian members of the ASL community to ensure the translations are both age-appropriate and theologically sound, and the platform hopes to expand its ASL offerings in the future.

“To the degree that resources are available, we want to put them to work to make sure that we can make as much of our content as accessible to the world as possible,” Goss told the Christian Post.
In addition to ASL, LAUGH AND GROW BIBLE FOR KIDS will also offer Spanish and Portuguese versions of the show.
“While our main mission is to help kids experience Jesus every day through media and technology, we are in the business of selling trust,” Goss continued to CHVN Radio. “And so, we have to make sure as a company that we put processes in place in such a way that, whenever a parent turns on Minno, they can rest assured that we have gone the extra mile to make sure that we’re ensuring the content that their kids see is both entertaining, but also completely aligned with a Christian worldview.”
He continued, “What we’ve found is when parents discover us, they’re like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this sooner. This is exactly what we need. And in many instances, we have the opportunity to help parents be the spiritual heroes that they want to be in the lives of their kids.”
Minno’s new ASL version of LAUGH AND GROW BIBLE FOR KIDS is a wonderful step towards ensuring the gospel is accessible for all children, no matter what language they speak.
