The Children’s Museum of Manhattan revealed that it had some special visitors last week — Ms. Rachel, her husband and a child from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“Recently we had the absolute joy of welcoming @msrachelforlittles, @aronaccurso, and their friend from @makeawishamerica to explore and play through CMOM,” the museum wrote on Instagram. “Watching their laughter and excitement reminds us of the magic that happens when kids are free to learn, discover, and just be kids.”
“We are so grateful to be part of moments like these and to work alongside Ms. Rachel, Aron, and organizations like Make-A-Wish that create unforgettable memories for children and their families. Here’s to many more smiles, laughter, and adventures to come! 💛✨,” the museum stated.
The museum shared pictures and videos of the YouTube star, her husband and the child playing together.
Ms. Rachel and her husband recorded a message for the museum: “Thank you so much to CMOM for always having us for Make-A-Wish,” said Ms. Rachel. “And for supporting all the children in this community. We love CMOM!” the couple said together.

Ms. Rachel has been entertaining and helping children grow through her YouTube series, books and toy line with toy company Melissa & Doug. Netflix will also expand her footprint by giving Ms. Rachel her own show, coming out Jan. 27.
Her new toy line, available in September, will be “Something that grows with a child; something they’re not going to play with for two days and then not want to play with anymore,” Rachel told Parents. “Something that inspires imagination and creativity; something that you can use in multiple ways.”
“I love Play-Doh, kinetic sand, things that kids can be creative with, and it never gets old, just like classic, toy dolls,” she continued. “Dolls are so wonderful. You can do so much with a doll.”
She hopes her toys will support kids through their developmental stages. It’s also important to her that the toys are affordable.
“It’s so important to me that the toys be affordable, and they’re very open-ended. They can grow with the child,” she said. “We always want everything with Ms. Rachel to be beneficial, and that’s one of the whys we go back to, like is this helpful for children? Is it going to inspire learning and creativity?”
One of Ms. Rachel’s biggest inspirations for her learning videos is TV show host and educator Mr. Rogers.
This month, Ms. Rachel shared a quote by Mr. Rogers: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”
Ms. Rachel captioned it, “We miss you. ❤️”
