Natasha Bure Says Her ‘Confidence Comes From Jesus’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Natasha Bure is sharing how her faith helps her overcome her insecurities.
“You seem so happy and comfortable in your skin!! How?” one of her followers asked during an Instagram Q&A.
Bure responded, “To be honest, every day is a challenge. There are PLENTY of days where I want to curl up in a ball and hide…but I have to remind myself WHOSE I am! I’m not defined by what my body looks like, how clear my skin is, etc. My joy and confidence comes from Jesus and the way He views me!! I am beautifully and wonderfully made.”
“I don’t want to waste my days being nit picky over my insecurities instead of being grateful that God blessed me with a body that’s able to move and do incredible things,” she concluded.
Movieguide® previously reported on Bure’s faith:
Despite growing up in Hollywood, former Movieguide® Awards host, influencer and actress Natasha Bure is clinging to her faith.
“For me, I want to find my identity in Christ,” said daughter of FULLER HOUSE actress Candace Cameron Bure to The Christian Post.
“At the end of the day, I think there are so many times in my life where you get exposed to certain things, or you kind of get used to a certain lifestyle and it’s really easy to get off track, but at the end of the day, when you think about what’s important to you, you really need to ground yourself in that,” Bure said.
Like her mother, FULL HOUSE star Candace Cameron Bure, Bure is an actress. However, having a parent in the business hasn’t made things any easier on her.
“The misconception is that everything is handed to you, or that you don’t have to work for what you get,” she told PEOPLE in 2022. “Whether it would be if I would get [cast] in a school play or something, I had people and friends that would say, ‘Oh, it’s just because her mom got her the role,’ or things like that.”
Bure continued, “My parents are so far removed from my life. They wish that they were more involved, which is actually something we joke about all the time. I would say that I work for everything that I get, and I’m hustling on my own, and I have a completely separate life from my parents, or from anyone, really.
Bure’s next onscreen role will be in GAF’s GET HIM BACK FOR CHRISTMAS, which also stars Carlos and Alexa PenaVega.
“Bella made it big in music. Jack stayed behind in his hometown working at The Salvation Army to help his family after his dad passes,” a description of the movie reads. “Bella returns home after a heartbreaking split with her chart-topping singing partner and asks Jack to write the perfect song to get her boyfriend back. Carlos PenaVega wrote and performs an original song, ‘Get Him Back for Christmas’ performed for the film at AT&T Stadium.”
