Great American Family actor Jesse Hutch is excited to share what the channel has lined up for Christmas junkies.
“Let’s talk Christmas,” Hutch began in a clip on Instagram Sept. 16. ”…No, it’s not here yet. But it’s on its way. Now, a few announcements on behalf of Great American Family…I had the honor and the privilege to not only produce and act in but act alongside my daughter, Charlize, okay. Now that movie is called A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS. Keep an eye out for that, okay?”
Movieguide previously reported on A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS:
A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS is inspired by the classic novel, “Little Women.”
“A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS is a contemporary retelling of the beloved classic novel, following the lives and loves of the March sisters in a small Tennessee town at Christmas,” a synopsis reads. “Jo March is played by Jillian Murray, Trevor Donovan is Friedrich ‘Fritz’ Baehr, Meg March is played by Jen Lilley, Laura Osnes plays Beth March, Julia Reilly is Amy March, and John is played by Jesse Hutch.”
The movie premieres on GAF on Nov. 23.
Hutch said, “The exact day after that, [there’s] a premiere of an all-new Christmas film with Jill Wagner and myself — SLEIGH BELLS AND SUGAR PLUMS. So check that out, okay?”
In SLEIGH BELLS AND SUGAR PLUMS, Erin, played by Wagner, sets out to sell her family home and see the northern light. Christmas comes to life with the help of a local tour guide, Trevor, who’s played by Hutch,
The third movie on Hutch’s announcement list is “an old classic and a favorite” of Hutch’s called LET IT SNOW with Candace Cameron Bure.
LET IT SNOW, released in 2013, features Bure as a corporate exec trying to turn a cozy lodge into a tourist hot spot as a handsome love interest (Hutch) attempts to put a gentle stop to her plans.
“Anyway there’s a lot of Christmas coming at you, so hey, might as well get in the Christmas mood, okay?,” Hutch continued in his video. “Might be too early for some. That’s okay, I understand you.”
“But some others might be like, I just can’t wait anymore,” he continued. “I’m going to get some hot chocolate. I’m going to put on a Santa Claus hat and I’m going to go ‘Ho ho ho.’”
“That’s how I’m going to answer my phone now,” he joked before ending the video. “No I’m not. Maybe. It’s none of your business. I’d like you to stay out of my personal Christmas affairs,” he quipped.
Hutch mentioned the movies he stars in this season, but Great American Christmas has a whole slew of specials lined up, including a new one with Cameron Mathtison and Candace Cameron Bure called HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS.
