Savannah Guthrie urged the public to continue praying for the safe return of her mother following her February disappearance.
“We feel the love and prayers from our neighbors, from the Tucson community and from around the country 💛,” she captioned a photo of flowers brought to her mom’s Arizona home by well-wishers.
Guthrie continued, “Please don’t stop praying and hoping with us. Bring her home.”

The TODAY anchor’s mother, Nancy, was reported missing Feb. 1 after she failed to attend a church service. Authorities have acknowledged that this is a possible kidnapping or abduction but have kept details private.
The FBI did reveal that, after reviewing doorbell camera footage, they are looking for “a male who is 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build,” per NBC.
Guthrie has been keeping fans updated on social media, as well as addressing the possible kidnappers and pleading for the safe return of her mother.
“I’m coming on to say it is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed, and every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then, of worrying about her and fearing for her, aching for her, and most of all, just missing her,” she said in a February Instagram video.
She continued, “We know that millions of you have been praying. So many people have been praying of every faith and no faith at all, praying for her return, and we feel those prayers. Please, keep praying without ceasing. We still believe. We still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home.”
“We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves,” Guthrie concluded. “If this is what is to be, then we will accept it. But we need to know where she is.”
Many have wondered if Guthrie will ever return to TODAY. An NBC spokesperson recently provided an answer.
“Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her TODAY colleagues,” a statement read. “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.”
