‘Seasons of Life’: Why Candace Cameron Bure Left Los Angeles

By Movieguide® Contributor

Candace Cameron Bure is the latest celebrity to leave Los Angeles.

“Many of you have asked, ‘Did you move?’ Yes,” Bure posted to her Instagram story. “‘Why?’ Mostly for security reasons. Also, family dynamics have changed. The kids don’t live in Los Angeles anymore. Mama will go where they go! I travel a lot. The seasons of life.”

Bure did not share where she moved to, but she isn’t the only one in the family who recently left California.

Her daughter Natasha recently shared a YouTube video detailing her move to Dallas, Texas.

“I feel like I’m in this little bubble in LA,” she explained. “I know the city really well. I have so many friends that I really love, but I want to get out of my comfort zone and try something new.”

Natasha continued, “I just want to meet new people, I want to learn lessons, I want to grow, and I feel like right now where I am in my life, this is the perfect opportunity to go and get out of my comfort zone…If I hate it, then I’ll move back, or I’ll move somewhere different or whatever.”

Bure is one of many celebrities who have decided to leave California. TWILIGHT actor Kellan Lutz and his wife Brittany moved to Tennessee recently. Movieguide® previously reported:

TWILIGHT star Kellan Lutz is opening up about his family’s decision to leave Hollywood for Nashville.

“We’re doing it for our kids,” he told Fox News…

“The way the industry is right now, currently I can work and live wherever and then just fly to do movies. And at least my wife has a support system here when I’m gone,” the actor continued.

Having Brittany’s extended family in the area reminds Lutz of his own time with family.

“I remember growing up, my family had a farm in Iowa, and I saw my grandparents, and it was the best time. We spent a month or so on the farm. Cows, pigs, everything. But it’s fleeting. People aren’t living as long,” he shared.

Bure is also celebrating the release of JUST IN TIME, the fourth movie made for Great American Family under her “Candace Cameron Bure Presents” banner.

“It means so much to be able to provide family and faith-filled content to you! I hope you love this film and it blesses your entire family,” she said in an Instagram post about the movie’s premiere.
