Si Robertson, brother of the late DUCK DYNASTY star Phil Robertson, wants you to see THE BLIND, which is based on Phil’s life story.

“Phil was my older brother for 77 years. We’re apart for now, but that ain’t nothing but a change of address for Phil,” Roberston wrote on Instagram on Aug. 30. “Watching THE BLIND come back to theaters this month hits me in a different way. It’s not just pictures and memories. It’s my brother’s life laid out for the world to see.”

“Look, we both made messes,” he continued. “But watching that movie, you can feel it all the way to your bones that no matter how far you fall, God will pick you up, dust you off, and make you right. There’s nothing he can’t do. And there’s nothing we can do to make him stop loving us.”

He remarked that Phil was embarrassed of his past but didn’t let that get in the way of him telling it to the world so that lives could be impacted.

“He wanted every last one of you to know that God’s love and grace and forgiveness are for all of us,” Si said. “So if you’ve never seen it, or even if you have, come with someone who needs to hear that message of hope. It’s not too late for any of us.”

Phil passed away earlier this year after a fight with Alzheimer’s, a fractured back and a blood disorder, Church Leaders reported.

His movie, THE BLIND, came out in 2023. It shows how Phil cheated on his wife, Kay, and turned to drinking, but she still found a way to forgive him. It shares how Phil radically came to know Christ.

Movieguide®’s review reads, “The movie is propelled by the jeopardy, and vice and drinking, but Jesus is extolled. THE BLIND is a rough movie. So, MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution, especially for children and young teenagers.”

Phil’s son, Willie Robertson, shared a tribute to his dad in May.

“…. He taught me many things in life and most without ever saying a word. I watched him, and knew he had figured out so many things,” Willie wrote. “Most importantly, he taught me the value of sharing my faith with others.”

“He was the Real Deal, the same on Sundays as Fridays,” he continued. “Most of our conversations were not about hunting or business, but about sharing the Gospel… Sleep well Dad, can’t wait to see you.”

Those who want to see THE BLIND can stream it on Pure Flix, The Roku Channel, and the Angel Studios app or website. It’s available for purchase from parties like Prime Video and Apple TV.
