It’s been four years since we saw the first season of THE TERMINAL LIST, and now we finally have a premiere date for Season 2.
The new season will launch worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on Oct. 21, 2026, TV Insider reported. All eight episodes will be available to stream.
The show is based on the book The Terminal List about a Navy SEAL who seeks revenge after his platoon is ambushed, leaving him as the sole survivor. The second season is about the sequel book, True Believer.
Production on the show finished in March.
“That’s a wrap on THE TERMINAL LIST Season 2 production,” an Instagram post for the series said. “From South Africa to North America to Morocco, the cast and crew pushed the limits to bring book 2, True Believer, to life!”
Chris Pratt stars in and produces the series. He recently revealed Luke Hemsworth will pop up in Season 2 and previously mentioned he’d like to have his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in the show.
“Honestly, I would love to incorporate Arnold in THE TERMINAL LIST,” said Pratt. “If you follow some of the books, there’s a couple of characters, one in particular — I’m not going to say who it is, but fans of the book will know who it is — I haven’t even spoken to Arnold about that, but I could see him playing this character. I think it would be so… epic.”
In an Instagram teaser, Pratt told fans, “I know you all have been excited. I’ve been excited. You’re not going to believe what we’ve created for you.”

He could hardly contain his excitement as he announced Season 2’s release date.
“I cannot wait for you to see what we’ve got cooked up for you. Let’s go, baby!” he said.
Pratt also teased, “This is bigger, it’s more intense and ambitious than anything we did in the first season…[Season 2] expands the world in a huge way on a global scale: bigger set pieces, deeper conspiracy, even more psychological tension. Our whole team poured everything, our hearts and souls, 1000s of people, into making this season worthy of the fans who made the first season such a phenomenon.”
The second season features James Reece’s new purpose after finishing his hit list. The Navy SEAL starts off on a new journey across the world as he tracks down terrorists, TV Guide said.
Pratt will be joined by other cast members Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim and Gabriel Luna.
