Tim Tebow Speaks at INTERPOL to Fight Child Sex Abuse

Tim Tebow shared his appreciation for the frontline workers fighting child sexual abuse after appearing at an INTERPOL conference earlier this month.
“Just finished an awesome conference here at INTERPOL just with so many amazing frontline heroes who are doing amazing work,” Tebow said. “It was such a blessing to just be a part of it, so many people coming together to care for the world’s most vulnerable.”
“There’s power when we come together and we are honored to work alongside frontline heroes around the world who are doing amazing work to protect child sexual abuse victims,” he added.
This conference with INTERPOL comes after Tebow testified before federal lawmakers, urging them to create a task force to fight child sexual abuse within America. His intense testimony revealed that his non-profit has identified 50,000 children whose sexual abuse has been shared online.
The Tim Tebow Foundation ran an operation to save some of the children they identified, freeing over 300 boys and girls over 15 days with the help of organizations like the FBI and INTERPOL.
Roughly half of the children they identified and saved were in America, revealing the need for a domestic task force to address this sickening issue.
“Every single one of those boys and girls is worth us answering the call and doing everything we can so that they can experience the faith, hope and love that they deserve. Not the bondage and torture that they’re in right now,” he said during his testimony. “I believe if we guild that rescue team, we will have a chance of getting to every one of those boys and girls.”
The Tim Tebow Foundation has also done international work to help victims of trafficking and sexual abuse. In 2022, it funded a protection center in Thailand for victims of trafficking to stay in while they got back on their feet.

In a recent Instagram video, Tebow shared, “A few years ago, we deepened our fight in this terrible evil in the world of human trafficking and child exploitation. And in the last 365 days, we’re so excited to share with you that we have grown so much and been part of rescuing thousands and building safe homes in so many different countries.”
Movieguide® previously reported on the work Tebow’s foundation does to fight trafficking. “We’re in 67 countries and we’re building more hospitals right now and we’re building more special needs orphanages and villages and rescuing girls from trafficking. And, I just am so passionate about that.”
Tebow launched this newest campaign with RAPHA International, an organization “committed to offering hope and healing to survivors of child slavery and sexual exploitation.”
