Peter Parker is about to get a fresh start in the new SPIDER-MAN 4 movie.

While at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas, lead actor Tom Holland revealed the title of the franchise’s fourth installment.

“I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie,” star Tom Holland said in a pre-recorded video, per Entertainment Weekly. “I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger at the end of NO WAY HOME, so SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.”

“That’s all I’ve been allowed to say,” he continued. “And I’m well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don’t be worried. I’m not going to do that today. But thank you for your support. It’s always a joy, and I will be back next year, hopefully.”

The Spider-Man 4 movie, titledSPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY, is expected to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.

The first three Holland-led SPIDER-MAN films were directed by Jon Watts. SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS director Destin Daniel Cretton will lead the fourth movie.

“I’m spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world,” Cretton said, calling BRAND NEW DAY and “emotional story.” “We’re all, just daily, nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an event, an emotional story, and a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME left audiences on a major cliffhanger.

According to Mae Abdulbaki with Screen Rant, the three versions of Spider-Man — Holland’s, Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s — team up to find cures for each of their villains. However, Holland’s Peter Parker knows that the only way to save the world from the multi-universe and send the other Spider-Men back to where they belong is by accepting Doctor Strange’s spell, which erases his identity. This means that Holland’s Peter Parker has to start his superhero journey over, with no help from anyone, at least for now.

Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, who play Peter’s friends MJ and Ned respectively, are slated to return to for the movie. However, no other cast members have been confirmed.

“I really wish I could introduce you to our entire team who are working their bloods off for this,” Cretton said, shouting out his team. “They are incredible, and you will see their amazing work when SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY hits your theaters.”
