TOP CHEF Host Padma Lakshmi Condemns Parents Who Do Not Support Trans Agenda

TOP CHEF host Padma Lakshmi took to Twitter to passionately support transgenderism among minors and told parents, “If you can’t accept your child for who they’re telling you they are, then you have no business being a parent.”

Lakshmi, an adamant left-wing activist, expressed her views on the last day of Women’s History Month after the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation published a letter that called out feminists who disagree with the transgender agenda.

A portion of the letter reads:

In observance of Women’s History Month and Transgender Day of Visibility, we write this letter as feminist leaders in advocacy, business, entertainment, media, politics, and social justice who stand as, with, and for transgender and nonbinary people. Trans women and girls have been an integral part of the fight for gender liberation. We uphold that truth and denounce the ongoing anti-transgender rhetoric and efforts we witness in various industries.

We acknowledge with clarity and strength that transgender women are women and that transgender girls are girls. And we believe that honoring the diversity of women’s experiences is a strength, not a detriment to the feminist cause. All of us deserve the same access, freedoms, and opportunities. We deserve equal access to education, employment, healthcare, housing, recreation, and public accommodations. And we must respect each person’s right to bodily autonomy and self-determination.

Aside from condemning parents, Lakshmi also said that children should have the right to change their sex.

“PSA: Gender: used to describe characteristics that are socially constructed, encompasses a range of identities Sex: a label initially assigned by a doctor at birth Sexual orientation: emotional, romantic or sexual attraction to other people,” Lakshmi wrote in a tweet.

If you can't accept your child for who they're telling you they are, then you have no business being a parent.

She continued: “Gender expression: the way you choose to express yourself on the gender spectrum through your behavior, clothing, haircut, etc. This can vary day to day or over time, it’s unique to each individual.”

Lakshmi also said that proponents against transgenderism for minors are creating “false equivalencies.”

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh responded to the television host:
