Tori And Zach Roloff Celebrate Birth Of Their Third Child: ‘I Am So Grateful For God’s Goodness’

By Movieguide® Contributor

Tori and Zach Roloff welcomed their third child after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage last year.

“Welcome to the world sweet Josiah Luke!” the couple posted on Instagram. They also shared that he was born at 9:02 am on April 30 and weighed 7 lbs. and 6 oz.

“You surprised us all by coming early, but also the wait felt like a lifetime!” the Roloffs continued.

The LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD couple are also parents to four year-old Jackson and two year-old Lilah.

While the couple was ecstatic to add another child to their family, they have not forgotten the loss of another child last year.

“It’s been exactly one year since we found out we lost our sweet baby,” Tori posted shortly before giving birth. “I still haven’t fully recovered from that experience, and to be honest I don’t know that I ever will. Having a miscarriage was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to face personally, and I really could not have gotten through it without God’s promise, or my husband and kids.”

“I sit here typing this one year later and VERRRRRY pregnant with a healthy baby. I wasn’t forgotten,” she continued. “I am so grateful for God’s goodness and the gift we’ve been given after such a time of grief. I’ve been so much more appreciative of the aches and pains of pregnancy because I’ve realize just how much of a gift it truly is.”

Movieguide® previously reported on how the couple’s faith has helped them through the tough time:

LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD stars Zach and Tori Roloff revealed that they tragically lost their third child after a miscarriage. Tori—who shares two children, Jackson, 3, and Lilah, 1 with her husband Zach—announced the news on her Instagram.

“We were so excited to share some exciting news this week. We were so excited when we found out we were expecting baby #3, and we couldn’t wait to share. We went in for our first ultrasound at 8 weeks and found out that we lost our sweet baby two weeks earlier,” Roloff wrote.

“I’ve honestly never felt loss like I did in that moment. I’ve never felt so sad, angry, and scared in a single moment. I had no symptoms of losing out sweet angel baby and nothing could have prepared me for hearing our sweet baby was gone.”

Despite her heartbreak, Roloff said that she is comforted by the peace found in knowing Jesus.

“I also thought about how the first face our little girl or boy got to see was Jesus. I’m so upset that I never got to see their face but I rest in knowing he or she is with our savior and I will meet them one day,” Roloff said. “My husband has been my unwavering rock through this whole journey. He has been by my side through it all and I couldn’t have done it without him.”

Roloff continued: “Parents should never know the heartbreak of losing a child. I pray that we can all find peace that our babies are waiting for us in heaven and we will meet one day.”
