Evangelist Bryce Crawford is on a mission to have deep but gentle conversations that challenge people’s worldview to make them think about God and the Bible.

“I think, you know, again, the rise right now is social media — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Snapchat. And so we always need to learn to adapt. Adaptation is not a bad thing,” Crawford told Movieguide® of how he shares the gospel.
“If people are transitioning to social media and we want to reach people, we need to reach them there,” he continued. “Something I noticed early on as a Christian is that when I was 17 and 18, I was serving at these big conferences and stadium events, and they couldn’t fill them. People didn’t want to show up.”
Crawford wasn’t sure why they were “questioning why people won’t show up instead of meeting them where they’re at.”
“If everyone’s glued to their phones, then we need to infiltrate their devices with the truth — because everyone else is filling them with false doctrine and bad ideology,” he emphasized. “So we need to do something about it rather than sit back. That’s really where the heart came from.”
While adaptation definitely doesn’t mean changing the gospel message, the 22-year-old believes God can and will use technological advances to draw people to Him.
“There are always going to be new things introduced. Now AI is here, and I don’t think AI is inherently bad. I think there are things we can use for God’s glory, but there are also things we shouldn’t rely on more than the Holy Spirit,” Crawford explained. “So overall, we’re going to keep adapting and growing. We shouldn’t be afraid of these things — we should just learn how to use them for the glory of God.”
Crawford often goes viral for his man-on-the-street conversations with a wide range of people — the Black Hebrew Israelites, pride parade attendees, satanists and more — where he questions people’s beliefs and gently explains the gospel to them. His Instagram boasts 3 million followers.
“Everything we get to do in this ministry is because of your radical and obedient generosity,” Crawford shared in another post on social media. “Generosity is the way of the Kingdom.”
He also hosts a podcast where he’s spoken with people such as Tucker Carlson, George Janko, Forrest Frank and Stuart and Cliff Knechtle and many others.
While social media, in many ways, causes a lot of harm, when people like Crawford adapt to use it as a tool to share the gospel, it can change lives for eternity.
